About me
I am in my third year of counsellor training, and I am currently working towards my level 4 in Integrative Counselling. I am a student member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists to whom I am accountable for my practice. I have over 25 years of experience in the NHS working with children and families supporting them through admission to hospital. I have a breadth of experience supporting people through traumatic periods of their life. I believe this has gifted me a deep well of empathy, compassion and understanding which has been enhanced by the learning I have done throughout the counselling course.
Individual work
I am training to be an integrative counsellor. For me this means my core is person-centred. I believe you are the expert on you. I believe each individual has the answers within them to move forward, they just need to feel seen, heard, and understood. I will work with you to find ways to move forward with the challenges you are currently facing.
