There are numerous organisations, charities and individual counsellors offering support to people, nationwide and locally in Bromsgrove and Worcestershire. It can therefore be very confusing as to who to turn to for professional help. Often a client will approach a counsellor without understanding totally that they have turned to the most appropriate person for their specific problems/issues.
HT Counselling Services have a wide range of Counsellors working together all offering different styles of counselling and different areas of expertise. As part of the service provision a senior practitioner will assess each client (free of charge) and ensure they are matched with the most appropriately trained Counsellor to support them.
Clients can request information about the counsellor they have been matched with to get a better understanding of their experience and qualifications. HT Counselling Service will attempt to answer all the client’s questions prior to the counselling commencing in an open and honest way.
All practitioners at HT Counselling Services have worked closely with Helen (Practice Director) for a period of time and have been rigorously vetted and assessed. They have up-to-date memberships to a Professional Body, an entry on an Accredited Register, Personal Liability Insurance, Data Protection (ICO) cover and DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) and renewals are checked annually.
The counsellors all adhere to a code of ethics, undertake regular Supervision and are all committed to Continuous Personal Development (CPD).
All prices reflect the expertise of the Counsellor alongside their training achievements. We are committed to offering market favourable fees where possible and aim to cater to a range of needs and budgets, ensuring everyone can access the benefits of positive change.

| Discovery Assessment – An initial session carried out by a senior practitioner, that assesses your needs and requirements to that of the service provision and to allocate an appropriate practitioner.
