About me

I’m Claire Blincoe, owner of Magic Manicures. I set up Magic Manicures in March 2021 after doing a career change from working at the Forensic Science Service for 15 years.

Magic Manicures is a boutique nail spa offering bespoke, luxury, nail services from HT Counselling Rooms in Aston Fields. The salon is strictly by appointment only so every client gets the attention that they deserve. I am a fully qualified and insured nail technician and International Educator for Gelish.

I offer a high-quality relaxing service tailored to your requirements using only the best high end Gelish and Morgan Taylor products. Each client receives a full consultation prior to services and has their own set of files and buffers to ensure the highest levels of care and sanitation.

I specialise in natural nail care, creating classic nails with Gelish “3 week” manicure gel polish and Morgan Taylor traditional lacquer.

Since 2016 I have been an International Educator for Gelish. I am qualified to deliver Gelish services and education including Gelish, Gelish PolyGel, Gelish Dip, Gelish Soft Gel and I teach complete beginners through to advanced courses. Courses include Manicure & Pedicure, Gelish Gel polish, Gelish Soft Gel extensions, Gelish Polygel and Gelish Dip and Design courses in both beginners and Gelish PhD lessons.

I am passionate about keeping my skills as up to date as possible by continuing to attend industry leading training from the best nail technician educators in the world at least twice a year.
