About me
I have 14 years experience of working as a counsellor in various settings. I began my therapeutic career volunteering at Selly Oak Hospital working within staff support. I then became a volunteer with the Rape and Sexual Violence Project (RSVP) supporting clients who had suffered abuse and trauma. I have also worked within a secondary school setting supporting children aged 11-18. My current role is working for an Employee Assisted Program (EAP) offering short term work to employees of various companies. I also run a private practice along side this supporting adults with various issues. I offer in-person sessions through HT Counselling Services Ltd.
Counselling Individuals (Adults)
Accessing counselling can take a great amount of courage. By using different approaches within my work I am able to provide counselling suitable to my clients needs. My belief is that the client counsellor relationship is paramount to the therapy that takes place. I hope to help you feel safe and secure within the environment and provide a space for you to feel comfortable to express your feelings and thoughts. My role is not to give advice but to provide different perspectives and bring awareness to help clients facilitate their own change.
