About me
I am a trainee counsellor. Currently completing my Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I am a student member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
Background
I have always had an interest in the human mind which is why I completed a degree in Psychology, focusing on health psychology.
I then completed a degree in Acupuncture and worked as an acupuncturist specialising in chronic illness and pain for many years.
I have been studying counselling for 3 years and really enjoy learning both the theory and the practical skills.
Clients I work with
I am happy to work with adults over the age of 16. I offer a warm, safe environment for you as the client to be heard, valued and accepted.
How I deliver therapy
Up to 16 sessions in-person or online through Affordable Counselling Service (part of HT Counselling Services Ltd).
Ethical practice
I have fortnightly supervision with a clinical supervisor who supports me in my professional and ethical practice.
I’m a student member of the BACP and I follow their ethical framework and code of practice.
